Sold some new art, spent the day at the Library, wrote a silly poem:
My close raven, you inspire me to draw.
Beyond the ocean a dream with dragon eyes
Hijacking my solemn day and through the sunscreen lotion,
Always seeking glory beyond the gloomy vie.
Let me compare you to a somber Bonsai?
You are more bony, grandiose and wild.
Humid drought dries the wet picnics of July,
And summertime has the HBO fairchild.
How do I love you? Let me sketch the ways.
I love your digital sword, Lenore and wolf.
Thinking of your blond hair fills my days.
My love for you is the lunar steppenwolf.
Now I must away with a binge heart,
And watch all the episodes whilst we’re apart.
Took some photos:
A portrait of Emily Dickinson from a bonus commission. It was wonderful that someone requested the creation of Lady Dickinson in a steampunk fashion. I have always been captive by her devotion to words. She seem to just experiment, be dauntless with rhymes and play with words. Dickinson kept many poems hidden, sending some to friends and only 10 poems from about 2000 poems are known to have been published in her active poetic years. Well here she is with a steampunk look, with her many keys, robotic robin, the dun bat necklace and the cricket is her utmost….
Of elegy to me.
“Massive Molecular Moments,” was created on the go. Influenced by nature, quantum physics and the emotions I felt finding all the broken plastic through my nature hikes or the broken bottles found on the beach. It makes you wonder about the future of our ecosystem and trying to find ways to support natural wildlife, manatees, and marine life. Most of the synthetic plastic that has ever existed was made in the last 13 years. We are all affected by the status of the natural environment. We only have one earth and it seems politics, profits and bad management always gets in the way of protecting her. Like always, I make music because it is quite fun, this time my guitar and a violin played a major part, along with summoning electronic synth like distortion from an old cyborg Digitech pedal and a Space Station XP300 Modulation Pedal! Check it out on iTunes
MegaCon, short for Mega Wicked, is a large convention that includes; comics, anime, horror, scifi events, annual cosplay/ and all-genre costume contests, ultra geek- panels, and electronic raves, so I chased stormtroopers, sold art and had lots fun.
~Great talent, the mighty lead man from Soundgarden and AudioSlave is gone and here are my thoughts:
Most people in the world or American poor neighborhoods don’t have access to Psychotropic Drugs, but Rock Stars with success like: Prince, Elvis and Chris have plenty of money and access to all the new magical pills to help balance your mood, make the seconds happier and eventually kill the artist. We know more about black holes than the human brain. I feel like we are monkeys in labs making drugs to help you make sense of life, with no complete knowledge of the true science behind the chemical potions we induce to be simply, happy. Drugs do not cure drugs or bring Santa early. Read the labels on everything and you might find the omnipotent side effects any pharmaceutical drug contains, it is written: why is anyone surprised?
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn’t exist.
It is all right in front of you!
Advance: That decade of stony discovery
Angle dip with a smile made from golden appetites
The backfill waste of energy loss
The last of the green eyes with combustible claws hides:
…..in the last of the wilderness
Beneficiation running black diamonds and somber fuel pumps
A franchise made of pure crop coal,
but remember eventually the black suits will fade
Shrubs, timbers, and ferns will rise from concrete wastelands
The conveyors will be solar and the wind will guide them.
Upon that night, when fairies call the light-hearted moon, their mistress dark,
The photos taken withered on the window, clouds perished;
Darkness had no need from all the candy on the coffee table.
Scheduled to create mighty #Optivion sonic waves at the intergalactic Burningman.

The fruition of interstellar travel and planetary colonization is only a few decades away.
I was selected to be part of Beyond the Fiction NASA Social at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md
Composer Michael Giacchino and the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap were amazing: performing an enigmatic score from Star Trek: Into Darkness live! The discussion before the show was informative and wonderful, all about Star Trek’s influence on the NASA culture, Vulcan misfits, and the space race.
Between all Star Trek realms, we see the same consistency for space fashion, travel design, future exploration, and universal wonder.
In the meantime, human-bound stargazers can follow the stars into the night sky and find these soft-spacy digital images fun to absorb.
Below I have my digital interpretation of the Hubble Space Telescope from the control center and the upcoming secret ICESat-2 spacecraft mission!
June, aged chest in the old firehouse. We wonder!
Among rusty broken walls and a primordial fire extinguisher
Beyond the cracks and venerable tiled matrix
Camera-eyes capture the ghost of the last ladderman
Obsolete doors calling ancient smoke jumpers
Beauty holds no bounds even for the versed
You don’t have to put on that red light
German medusa with the golden hair was smiling
But I was patient and waited:
Harmonica with the skeleton key
Stoutness by my side: unsealed
Transforming coffee in to poems,
ideas into paintings while melodies become birds.
A Happy birthday, zappy birthday to a brand new year. Wishing all a great luminous year. Create your environment with small blossoming dreams, make a sound you haven’t heard before and put it on the mix. Draw birds and nebulas and paint with your fingers, blindfolded.
Most importantly be kind to others.

I thought not I should find a wondrous fairy, / But found one on my harmonica.
In the Future, the ocean will move in while streets turn to lakes.
The city will rise.

Ideas for The New Year
“Hold an umbrella in one hand and a surprise in the other!”
Find a new book, make some terrible art work. Get lost in a new city. Explore good magic and keep learning new skills! Write a poem, bake some cookies for a friend. Make a treasure map, and if you find a new key in the clue, make a copy!
Perhaps the most important of all, sing your favorite song, loud and clear and don’t worry so much about the harmony!
Put some shade and color in your day.
Who cares what they say: Make some art!
What is light and what is shadow?
The piece below was influenced by a tax increase that pushed Japan’s economy into a recession.
Spooky! Been soundlessly working with sculpture.
Empires rise and empires fall
~Three for the road.
~Keep the fire and sharpen your spear.
Do your thing: Make everyday your creative Halloween !!
A great “Day of the Dead and Happy Dia de Los Muertos, homiez!
Halloween-themed games are fun to play all year round. Nonetheless, I doubt any chills can come from the japanese multiplayer kawaii mayhem I am enduring, but I do love the magic atmosphere, fashionable strange friends and the whimsical video music. Find it all here: http://ameblo.jp/optivion/
Poem for Sunday Shake
I had painted in October, inside the tune of the day
Was lured by autumn’s crisp ink
Central to the song you came, internal colors
Titian, untitled and cool.
Shake it off, shake it off.
~Fools are poets with invisible wings and colorful brushes.
We are a very small species interlacing through a tiny sector of time and nature.

The Ghoulie Bike
Beam the Ghoulie Bike to the surface of the planet. Ride or drift through the Martian desert or an ice moon at the edge of the galaxy overflowing with strange aliens and rogue robots. With air to ground Teleportation ability this motorcycle is a high-speed terrain vehicle that is the perfect mode of planetary travel or intergalactic post-apocalyptic road rage.

What am I doing this month?
I am slowly working on being a bit more clever about counting my time as an artistic entrepreneur. Specially if you travel every few months.
Remember social media and marketing take away from the creative act. Focus on the work and hopefully everything else will start coming together. So keep playing music, writing, drawing and stay creative.
